Can I Use a 64gb Sd Card in 3ds
Using a 64GB SD bill of fare with the 3DS?
I've been downloading a lot of retail titles recently, then my 32GB SD card in my 3DS is slowly just surely running out of space. Obviously 64GB SD cards can work with the 3DS, but they need to be formatted or something...? Anyone know anything about this? Any help is appreciated!

I've got one in mine and it works peachy. It'll probably piece of work straight out of the box, but I reformatted mine before starting just to be safe. You lot use the same FAT format equally you'd use for whatsoever 3DS SD card.

It volition not work direct out of the box. All SD XC cards (64GB+) come formatted as exFAT.

I have ane and it works fine. I needed to download an app then I could format it FAT32 commencement equally the 3DS (nor windows 7 patently) would format a carte du jour larger than 32 GB as Fat32, but one time I did it worked fine. I heard this also works for 128 GB cards.
That said 64 GB seems like WAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overkill, but if y'all think this may be a consern you might want to jump to a 128 GB one.

Ah, that sounds simple plenty. I might go directly to a 128 GB i, since I got through the 32 GB waaaay faster than I expected. Downloading retail games takes upwards a tonne of blocks, and it doesn't seem like the 3DS is going to be replaced any time soon.
